Luxi is already a second year student at PLU. She is featured at the school magazine answering questions about school life to new students. Luxi is also actively involved in all kinds of activities, including Chinese studies club and playing flutes. We are all very proud of her, and looking forward to seeing her again this summer in Seattle.
My first Chinese New Year in probably 10 years. The firecrackers scene taken from my balcony when the year of NIU arrives.
This is the New Year's Card that I sent to all my friends in Japan this year. It is a custom in Japan that friends send Nengajyo (年賀状) to each other to express new year's greetings.
Although I received cards from my friends last year, I failed to send new year's card before going back to Shanghai for family visit. I felt very sorry for offending my friends.
Life and work have never so hectic for me in the last few years, however this shall not be the excuse for not greeting friends at least once a year.
In her first week at kindergarten, Lisa has learnt this dance with the popular kid's song "looking for a friend". I hope she could fully recover next week and resume her kindergarten soon.
Another old picture. This is when I got together with my friends in Los Angeles back in 2002. The friend who took the picture really made us laugh by asking squeez to each other and caught the moment of laughters.
I have at last had sometime to sort out my old pictures and put up on my blog. This picture was taken by a photographer when we attended a group wedding in Osaka. I looked really young in this picture. Eight years have passed and it was only like yesterday. Time really flies.
Lisa really enjoyed her first trip to Disneyland Tokyo. Papa William will bring her to Disneyland at least once a year from now on.
